aerne engineering has developed a complete system for a major customer in the food industry that utilises various technologies, including vision applications to determine the position, height and, in some cases, the angular position of the dough pieces. The use of our vision solution provides important information for the subsequent processing steps of the dough blanks. The system is capable of processing more than 5 different types of dough pieces. Ultrasonic knives are used for cutting , which utilise the position data from the 3D sensor.
